Deep in the smoldering pits of the underworld, the demon Mefodus prowled through the infernal darkness, a towering figure of malice and ambition. His obsidian claws gleamed as he tore through the damned, his jagged maw devouring their tortured souls with insatiable hunger. Each soul consumed was another ember to the ever-growing inferno within him, making him stronger, faster, and deadlier. He had once been a mere servant, bound by the iron will of his dark master, but with every soul absorbed, the shackles that tethered him to servitude weakened. The other demons whispered of him in hushed fear, for they could feel the shift in power—a storm brewing in the abyss, a beast that would not remain caged for long.
As centuries passed, Mefodus grew into a monstrous colossus, his shadow stretching across the infernal plains. His master, once a figure of unparalleled authority, began to falter in his presence, his commands carrying less weight with each passing day. Mefodus’s eyes burned with malevolent determination; he knew it was only a matter of time before he consumed enough power to shatter his bonds and rise above his creator. And when that day came, the underworld itself would tremble, its gates forced open by his rage and ambition. The mortal world, blissfully unaware of the growing threat below, would soon face a terror unlike any other. For Mefodus would not simply emerge—he would devour the earth itself, one soul at a time, until no light remained.
