Bishop Albert Buxtehude, the third of Riga who in 1202 founded the Livonian Knights (Swordbrethern) to fight the pagan tribes of the Baltic countries. These "German warrior monks" was beaten at the Battle of Saule in 1236 and was absorbed into the Teutonic Order in 1237. Separate shield.
