In 28-32mm heroic scale. Daro was once a chem-brewer, working for one of the mid-level guilds, where he turned his knowledge of biology into profit.
However, ambition has a way of swallowing even the most cautious. A deal gone wrong, a double-cross that left his name smeared - and Daro soon found himself betrayed with a bounty on his head. Forced to flee, he descended into Hellspire, a place where even his enemies wouldn’t dare to follow.
Down here, life took on a new meaning. The silence was absolute, save for the distant rumble of Blackreech machines far above, and the occasional rustle of things moving in the dark—malstrain creatures, twisted beyond recognition by years of exposure to the toxic environment. He discovered the bioluminescent mushrooms by accident, finding their unnatural growth deep in the guts of the collapsed city. Though their strange forms unsettled him at first, he recognized their value. With his background he could cultivate them, and he knew their worth to the chem makers above. This is how he became a mushroom farmer.
