Additional Equipment
ECM Suite (Head):
Dampens sensors, fitting the "Specter" theme by making it harder to detect the Hellbringer at a distance.
Targeting Computer (Right Torso):
Enhances accuracy for the Gauss Rifle and lasers, allowing precise strikes and making each hit feel like a carefully placed “spectral touch.”
Anti-Missile System (AMS) (Left Torso):
Provides defensive coverage from missile threats, adding to survivability and aiding in the heavy ambusher role.
Aesthetic & Paint Scheme
The Hellbringer A-13 "Specter" comes with a “ghostly” black paint scheme with faint, flickering silver and blue highlights along the edges and weapon barrels. The cockpit glows a dim red, resembling a baleful eye staring at the enemy. Small, eerie "glyphs" are painted on the armor, adding to the 'Mech's haunted appearance and rumored "curse."
Backstory: Hellbringer A-13 "Specter"
The Hellbringer A-13 “Specter” first appeared in 3055 as Clan Jade Falcon sought to employ an ambusher that would not only deliver high damage but strike fear into its enemies on sight. Known for its flexibility in modular designs, the Hellbringer chassis was chosen for the project, and its appearance and loadout were tailored to evoke a ghostly theme, especially suited for night operations.
Deployed along the borders of Clan Ghost Bear and House Kurita territories, the "Specter" was well-suited for causing terror among raiding parties. With its ECM creating “phantom signals,” and its Gauss Rifle and ER PPC delivering powerful, near-silent kills, the “Specter” quickly became a horror story on the battlefield. Many claimed to see the Hellbringer “fade in and out” due to the ECM interference and its dark coloration.
