One of the more horrifying creatures of the Swamplands is the Piranhasaur! These little monsters travel in large numbers moving through the trees using their large arms and hands. As their teeth may have given away they are voracious carnivores. Once prey is spotted they decend apon it with brutal efficiency. Using their upper body strength and sheer numbers they beat and pin their prey to the ground while devouring the poor creature alive. Death by a thousand cuts comes to mind when being attacked by these nasty critters. Their small size is made up for the amount that gather together. Large enough groups of Piranhasaur can pin even the largest of creatures much like how an army of ants attacks prey much larger than it. On their own they are not that formidable and often will run away to find its companions.
