The term 'Technical' refers to a light improvised armed vehicle, usually a pickup truck which has been retrofitted with a machine gun, anti aircraft gun or other weapon. Being civilian vehicles, they are easy to maintain, cheap and reliable.
The Charlie model is a very modern vehicle, which is used world wide, including by a number of armed forces. It has a large double cab, providing better transport with increased protection, while still able to carry a wide range of weaponry. The suspension is lifted and Off Road tires are fitted as standard.
