I am Marc Masclans, born in Barcelona in 1988. Although I graduated in philosophy from the University of Barcelona, I soon discovered that my true passion was in miniature painting. In 2013, I decided to turn what had been a lifelong hobby into my full-time profession.
My journey in this art began around 2002, and since then I have been fortunate to continuously learn and improve in the company of some of the best miniature painters and figures in the fantasy world, such as Alfonso Giraldes and Jose Palomares. My career has been one of constant evolution, driven by dedication to the art of painting and a commitment to perfecting every detail of my technique.
For me, miniature painting goes far beyond coloring scaled figures. It is an artistic discipline with a rich background and enormous potential, which has grown significantly in recent years, both in terms of creativity and popularity.
I have always sought to express myself through figure painting, bringing them to life and telling stories through color and brushstrokes on a three-dimensional canvas. At the same time, teaching and mentoring other painters have become essential parts of my work, an area I hope to continue expanding in the coming years to train new artists with passion and dedication.
