The OpenForge project was founded in 2013 by Devon Jones. Since then, the project has released hundreds of 3D-printable tiles and scatter terrain usable for tabletop gaming. In 2018, the project expanded to include a second designer, Evan Carothers who brings his signature style of scatter terrain to OpenForge.
This terrain allow gamemasters and wargamers to create a nearly limitless number of scenarios. They are modular and compatible with a wide variety of tiles produced by several companies and individual makers. We create these tiles for our games and yours.
The terrain is 3D printable on your personal machine, and via Shapeways and many other 3D-printing services. The designs are free on Thingiverse. We release them under permissive Creative Commons licenses that allows you to remix, release, share or for some items even sell the models.
With your help, we'll continue to expand the free gaming tiles and scatter terrain to create a greater range of possibility for you, the GM or wargamer to create the scenarios you imagine.
Be sure to limit your reward to how many times per month you want to pay. I want to release tiles often, and I want people to be delighted with each release instead of worried about the cost.
