The Griffins of Akkylannie were a still young people when the Cynwäll elves, hoping to have a new ally against Darkness, revealed the secret of gunpowder to them. Brilliant scholar and a genius mind, Dirz created true wonders in Arcavia in the name of Merin. Then, to better glorify his God, he devoted himself to the search of the perfect being. But the betrayal of the black robes in Alahan cast a dark aura on his work, and the Inquisition was clear in his judgment. Dirz fled into the desert of Syharhalna with his disciples, and there unearthed the ruins of the ancient Empire of the Ishim-re.

Concord of the Eagle

When humans invaded Aarklash, little by little the original races could either yield to these new dominators, ally them or find shelter in inaccessible domains. Guided by their Oracles, the Warriors of the Faathi remained alone in their battle and eventually left their land for the Elemental Plans, where they would fight darkness directly. On this day they return to Aarklash to re-establish balance and they are now gathering their brothers: the Minotaurs are back.

Cynwall Elves

In the elven tongue, Cynwäll means ‘exiled’, and in fact the Cynwäll are Daïkinee elves that split from their brothers after the first great schism of the elven race. The Cynwäll left Quithayran and moved to the mountains of Laronn, an ancient place where the last dragons still live, guarding the last vestige of the Ishim-re. The Cynwäll established pacts with the dragons, studied forgotten technologies and found their own way, away from the gods, focussing on one’s inner being: the Noësis. They face the Rag’narok as a culturally-deep and military-incredible race.
