The abyss stares back and it's looks hungry. To stop the Cult of Hunger, the heroes spy on their activities. In a desperate attempt to secure victory, they explore an ancient tomb, where the dead from all over the multiverse are laid to rest. Eventually, they break into a coffin to find the skeletal remains of a powerful necromancer. Entombed with the ancient mage is the Book of Death. A direct link had been opened by the cult between the material plane and the Abyss. Seeing no other way to prevent destruction, the heroes decided to put the forbidden power of the Book of Death to good use and close the gate forever.
