Stuart Powley has been nurturing his passion, sculpting, for several years and runs an online shop selling his sculptures.
For over 10 years I have been using my somewhat bizarre imagination and developing skills to produce a wide range of artwork and miniature models. I have been designing and sculpting all sorts of figurines, inspired by my passion for war gaming, science fiction, fantasy role playing games.
With a lot of encouragement from friends and customers we decided in 2012 to take this hobby to the next level and enter the professional world of miniature modelling and sculpting and set up a full time business SLAP Miniatures (our company name coming from my initials Stuart Lawrence Powley).
Our aim is to grow and develop as we sculpt figurines intended for painters, gamers and collectors who enjoy the sort of characters I come up with.
We have plans to create and grow many different ranges with an eye to producing armies and ‘gangs’ for the gamers, whilst at the same time ensuring there is something interesting for the painters and collectors as well.
