Empire Mortar

Mortars are shorter, heavier weapons than cannons, designed to lob an explosive shell high into the air so that it drops down onto the target.

The Empire mortar is an imposing artillery model that would take pride of place in any Empire collection. The Mortar itself is a stout and wide iron-look cylinder that is aimed directly upwards, ready to unleash all sorts of hell upon the foe. It is set within a solid timber frame and wooden wheels, all of which features metal plating for battlefield protection. Three noble men of the Empire tend to the mortar with their rammer and sponges, ready for their orders.

This multi-part plastic set contains an Empire Mortar, which can also be assembled as an Empire Great Cannon.

This kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
