This kit contains 1 2-storey Norman style Post and Beam House

These buildings are based on the Post and Beam construction style popular among Normans.
They could be found all throughout the period of the Norman Conquest and the Barons’ War,
all the way up through the English Civil War and the Monmouth Rebellion.

Post and Beam construction mimics a similar building style used by the Romans.

‘John the Priest lives in a house on the church grounds, and is responsible for the parish surrounding the village,
which contains a few smaller villages. He collects a tithe to make his income, and directs the Mass every
Sunday, though he would prefer to stick to farming if he were honest.’
