The personal security detail of the affluent Kruger family of the Chrome Coast, though calling them a security detail might be underselling it. These guys are closer to a paramilitary, and the Kruger family has the money to fund it. When money and fortune come your way on the Coast, you need to have a first and final line of defense when the scum of the street try to get too close. For the average joe this might just be a small handgun or a switch blade, but for the fat cats like the Kruger family, it’s a small army.
Equipped with state-of-the-art armour, implanted with combat neuro-enhancers and cybernetics, as well as sporting the latest and greatest lead-belching machinery, these are the kind of corpo guards you cross two blocks down to avoid.If you see them, you know they’re looking for something, and with their drones and VTOLs, there’s a good chance they’re going to find it, but the pumped up psycho’s might also make a poor guess that you have the info they’re looking for.
Right now they’re tearing up Neon Paradise and Broadport, looking for whatever scraps of info they can on the Silver Jackal. Small units are posted on pretty much every corner to keep an eye out for him, hassling any passersby for info if they’ve seen him, roughing up anyone who they think is holding out on them. The Chrome Coast Police seem to be turning a blind eye to it all, probably due to some timely bonuses they’ve all been wired right before this.Still, it’s best to avoid direct conflict with them in this time, with how they’re spread out it’s a sure thing that they’ll be quick to respond to any firefights their comrades are involved in. If they need to be taken out, it might be best to do it sneaky-beaky like.
