Among strangers, Beof and Edi have an agreement that Edi should stay hidden. But in the good company of the staff at the Last Hearth Inn and the Inn regulars, Edi lets it all hang out. It’s not rare for Edi to drink a little too much and spend the night singing rousing songs to the astonished/horrified/enchanted patrons of the Last Hearth Inn, while Beof wishes he could just go to bed and sleep.

Beof Lamis and Edi are conjoined twins. Only Beof is a full grown, normal sized man, and Edi is a tiny, malformed stub of a man (just a head and one arm) “growing” out of Beof’s shoulder.

Beof and Edi are in their 30’s, and despite often being at odds with each other (they have very different personalities) live a fairly ‘normal’ life. Beof (and therefore Edi) have jobs as the groundskeepers of the Last Hearth Inn. They are responsible for keeping the courtyard in good shape and for doing general maintenance around the place. The Last Hearth Inn is a large establishment, and Beof and Edi are always busy. You can often hear them arguing about the right way to approach a job, or the proper tool to use. 

While Edi is quite grotesque looking, he’s actually the more affable of the two, and the better conversationalist. If one can get past they’re talking to what looks like an abomination, then one might grow to like Edi.
