Egypt is a mythical Napoleon campaign, troops transported to with uniforms worn in France and with regiments formed for the occasion. A magnificent drawing by Eugene Leliepvre inspired me for this Hussar of the 7th bis regiment. It is included in the series ‘Collecting the Classics’ lends itself to a setting.
