A centuries old dwarven mine buried under rock and snow. A detachment of soldiers commanded to set an outpost in the old mines, unaware of their current goblin dwellers. And a group of adventurers asked to learn about the now missing soldiers. Something is wrong with those who venture inside Alzir’s Anvil, the tallest of the Hellish Peaks. Something else entirely controls them, like a puppeteer from another world. Can it be related to the falling star that blazed across the sky nights ago? With the flash of light that exploded against the mountain peak? Only you can discover what the heart of the mountain hides in its darkness. Will you step up and find the secret of the mines? Or will you perish in the iced heights that await you At the Peaks of Madness?
This is a dark-fantasy and horror 5e module set in the world of Izral and designed to be played by four to five characters of level 3. It takes the players to the northern regions of Phaladar in the frontier between the Ivreanate and the Mashtian Confederation, so it can easily be inserted in a bigger campaign.
Adventures in the world of Izral are all fully compatible with the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons. A pdf document, maps and stat blocks are included for you and your friends to bring all the grimness and epic of Izral to the party, and each adventure is also associated with a high detail bundle of miniatures to bring the action to the table (for this adventure’s set, you can go to [link?]).
