Hills for Battletech Alpha Strike

This set contains 36 hills of different sizes, primarily for the Battletech Alpha Strike game, but definitely useful for many other wargames.

The hills are made up of horizontal layers, with an inch between each layer height. The hills are all designed for supportless printing, and to fit on FDM print beds of up to 220 x 220mm in size, which should fit on most printers around the size of the popular Ender 3. Three of the largest hills are split into two objects that can be joined with a supplied peg file.  

Updates

• 2024-11-13: I've added two more large hills that are split to print in two parts. These hills symmetrical and flipped across their centre axis with the intention they'll go in the middle of the table and provide equal cover for both sides. I've also added six "tiny" hills that aren't wide enough for a mech to stand on, but instead just provide cover. Three of these are one inch high to provide partial cover, and the other three are two inches high to provide full cover.
• 2024-12-14: I've added versions of half of the hills that include one or more ramps. This is 21 new objects. The ramps have a rise to run ratio of 1:3 to allow units to stand on the ramp. I've also added a version of all of the original hills that use an alternate rock style, so another 41 new objects. In the near future I'll be adding ramps to this alternate rock style, and I'll do a version of all the hills that use steps instead of a ramp for people that prefer them.
• 2025-03-18: I had a request to open up the space at the two ends of the "hill w ramp large c" hill, which I've done and added to the "Alpha Strike Hills with " file.
