Now they are the Saintless Guard — spectral giants clad in battered vestments and remnants of their former holy armor, animated not by orders, but by a compulsion burned into their fading essence. They bear sacred arms corroded by time and sin, their oaths long since curdled into anguish.

Unlike other ghosts who wail or wander, the Saintless Guard advance with grim discipline. Their presence on the battlefield is like that of statues striding from ruined cathedrals — mute, unyielding, and filled with holy wrath turned hollow.

No command reaches them. No blessing touches them. Yet they fight still, as if God might one day remember them.
