Druidic Guardian Tree

The visual centerpiece of this release. I picture that the druid that started the ritual that encased its circle into the Thornhold grew, shedding their skin for bark, growing roots and becoming larger and larger until their own body, transformed into wood, stood to protect the circle. Maybe a few of their druid followers helped in the ritual, and they too ended up growing into the ground, protecting the circle with their own transfigured bodies (I just liked those wooden heads, had to make them). The druidic tree can use some of its roots to attack trespassers, which can make for great lair-like encounters. Characters explore room after room of the dungeon, being attacked by these roots from time to time as they are already fighting evil druids (or whatever moved in). They understand that they are standing on top of the wooden creature that attacks them with roots, but only in the final clearing of the dungeon they find this tree, living proof of the druid's sacrifice, their body frozen with a wooden expression.
