Lord Malachai.
Last of the Lightborn. Prophet of the Spiral Flame. Ruler of the Alumbrados.

In 1703, at the Siege of Montserrat, seven days unfolded like a wound across the earth.
The sky split with pillars of silent light.
The mountains burned white, then black.
The Eye of Illumination was scorched into the monastery walls — and then erased.

No body was found. No voice was silenced.
Only a single phrase remained, whispered by a dying monk:
“He did not fall. He transcended.”

The Inquisition buried the records.
But the signs are returning:
