The Necrocyborgs are the long-dead, long-rebooted machine warriors of a forgotten empire. Once flesh-and-blood conquerors, now ghost-coded minds in cold steel shells, they've been locked in a limbo of broken sleep for thousands of years. Half-aware. Half-dreaming. Totally insane. And now they're back - awakening in scattered waves across the stars, bringing logic-driven annihilation... and sometimes, something far worse.

Enter the Flayers.

These poor bastards didn't just lose their humanity - they watched it rot from the inside. Trapped in maddening stasis, tortured by visions, they snapped.
