Expanding upon the currently running Gunslinger: Vietcong, covert Vietnam War kickstarter we continue the rollout this month with a brand new Patreon/Tribes release.
The Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) stood as the primary land force of South Vietnam throughout the Vietnam War, tasked with defending the Republic against communist insurgency and invasion. Formed in 1955 and trained extensively by U.S. advisors, the ARVN evolved from a fledgling force into a modern army equipped with American weapons, vehicles, and uniforms. Its ranks included both elite airborne, ranger, and marine units, as well as regular infantry divisions engaged across the country—from the deltas of the Mekong to the highlands near Laos. Despite facing immense pressure and sustaining heavy losses, ARVN soldiers fought with determination and courage in one of the most complex conflicts of the 20th century. This miniature release captures the spirit and appearance of these soldiers during the height of the war, faithfully recreating their distinctive combat gear and battlefield presence.
