The fawns are proof that mutations within the bubble are not random, and that over time they tend to stabilise. In fact, the Wapiti of the bubble are a new species in every respect, which will probably not mutate any further.

Over time, the Wapiti of the bubble have taken on an ethereal form “parallel” to that of the deer of the material world.

Unlike humans who have an ego, animals do not go mad because of the etheric vibrations of the bubble; they do not have an animistic degeneration like humans, but tend to stabilise the vibrations rather quickly, as the fawns of the Wapiti confirm.
