Wapiti are generally not very aggressive animals, but they should not be underestimated. Males in particular, with their large antlers, can inflict injuries that are sometimes fatal.

Wapiti are one of the primary sources of food within the bubble. They are hunted for their edible meat and for their bones and glands, which are used as crafting materials.

The Wapiti living in the bubble are not herbivores; the mutation has led them to feed on small animals or insects that they capture using their long, prehensile, adhesive tongues. Once an animal is trapped, the large lips secrete digestive enzymes that break down the prey's body. This process allows the Wapiti to absorb crucial nutrients, such as nitrogen and phosphorus, as well as the proteins necessary for survival.
