This striking sculpture depicts Harihara, the composite form of Shiva and Vishnu, rendered in the classic Chola style. The duality of the divine is emphasized through the use of two distinct metals—one side radiating the ascetic austerity of Shiva, the other adorned in the ornate regalia of Vishnu.

Standing gracefully on a lotus pedestal, Harihara holds Shiva's axe and Vishnu's conch, symbolizing the fusion of cosmic dissolution and preservation.
