Ruined Portable Generator

This gutted generator once hummed quietly at the edge of field camps, feeding power to comms rigs and shield emitters. Now its casing has slumped and bubbled from an overload, cables fused into dripping metal stalactites. Scavengers pry at its cracked panels, hoping a few stubborn cells still hold a charge—or that the unstable core doesn’t decide to vent one last burst of lethal energy.
