This contemporary sculpture captures an unconventional and expressive rendering of Lord Shiva in a dynamic and whimsical pose. With his knees supported on his vahana, the revered bull Nandi, Shiva appears to float with ease and lightness, a gesture rarely seen in traditional iconography. His flowing hair, lifted as if suspended in wind or energy, evokes the wild, untamed nature of the divine ascetic.

Holding his trident (trishula) firmly, and with a serpent coiled around his neck, Shiva is shown in his familiar yet artistically reimagined form — wearing rudraksha beads, a tiger-skin garment, and a serene yet ecstatic gaze upwards.
