The design for the "Entropy" gaming mat was inspired by Tzeentch, the Chaos God found in Warhammer40k lore. As the Changer of Ways, Tzeentch is said to guide the lives and events of existence to serve Tzeentch's own unutterably complex and unknowable purposes. Similarly, "entropy" is the concept that order slowly dissolves over time, due to mysterious but irresistible forces, leading the world into an ever more chaotic state.

In this gaming mat, the ground seethes and boils, as though its molecules are dividing into their component atoms and recombining into new and volatile compounds. The result is an almost chemically bright neon pink and blue, with a purple (poisonous?) haze wafting listlessly over all.
