Varus Miniatures company

I am a part time sculptor from the Teutoburg Forest. I therefore live in approximation of the alleged area where the unified Germanic tribes defeated the Roman Empire. And that is also the origin of my Pseudonym Varus.

My journey in the hobby started in the 90s with a popular Dungeon Crawler from MB Games. Since the early 2000s I have been inexorably falling into the rabbit hole. I always wanted to create something unique. Starting from conversion, I worked my way up to sculpting in putty.

I adopted resin 3D printing pretty early, so it seemed only logical to train myself in 3D sculpting. So, I spent a few years training––up to the point when I started a Patreon, and I had to learn a lot more. A great journey that leads to my first Kickstarter.
