The shadow-drunes are invaluable to the Ysian general as scouts and ambushers. In that they excel; their twin daggers are difficult to stop up close, but unarmoured as they are, they are vulnerable in a protracted fight or in the open. That is why their skills are used in the shadows, in the peripheries of the battlefield, leaping from cover upon unsuspecting enemies.
