Description
The 404th Assault Brigade has always been marked by reckless bravery, which is why it is sent as the spearhead of the most dangerous assaults, thrown into places where nature, battlefield conditions, and the enemy offer the fiercest possible resistance and where the chance of survival is almost nonexistent. From that slaughterhouse, only a handful usually return, and it is those survivors who become the Einherii: not merely an elite, but warriors who have endured direct clashes, doomed operations, and impossible odds, often as the sole living remnants of their units. They are too few to remain a proper formation, yet far too valuable to be discarded, and so they are gathered into small teams of equally hardened specialists and sent out again to carry out the most perilous assignments. That is why the Einherii are always equipped to the highest possible standard, with the finest armor, the most reliable gear, and the deadliest weapons available, because they are sent where survival cannot be left to hope alone, but must be calculated in steel, discipline, and blood.
