Epicurus, Tranquil Defender

Epicurus, Tranquil Defender is one of the many Anceint Greek Philosopher Heros, part of my series where I reimagine Greek Philosophers as Greek Heros.

Epicurus (341–270 BCE) was born on the island of Samos, Greece. He studied philosophy in Athens and later founded his own school, The Garden, in 307 BCE, which welcomed men and women alike—an uncommon practice at the time. He emphasized ethics, rational thought, and the pursuit of a tranquil life as a means to achieve happiness.

That's why I've reimagined him as a tranquil hero, still adorned in armor but peacefully sitting on a marble thrown ina peaceful garden. Stay tuned for more Greek Philosopher Heros and follow to see what comes next!
