/// QUICK SPECS ///
Native Scale: 28mm/32mm Heroic Monument (114mm cubed footprint). Note that it scales infinitely.
Geometry: 100% Manifold, Watertight, Flattened Base for absolute stability.
Surface Detail: High-Frequency Texture (Optimized for washes/dry-brushing).
Multi-Stage Engineering: Extracted from a raw optical scan of a lost architectural monument, mathematically flattened, and precisely decimated to guarantee zero slicer crashes.
Print Difficulty: Medium (Requires supports for the overhanging beak, wingspan, and talons).
> Rescued from the façade of a demolished building, this imposing stone eagle survives only as a digital ghost of lost monumental architecture. Captured mid-strike with deeply weathered feathers and heavy, brutalist talons, this hero asset has undergone a rigorous, multi-software engineering workflow—taking the heavy raw capture of the lost sculpture and mathematically flattening the architectural plinth to ensure it sits perfectly flat on your gaming mat with zero digital cleanup required.
/// DEPLOYMENT SCENARIOS ///
- The Line-of-Sight Blocker: At its native 114mm monumental scale, it serves as massive, indestructible cover for infantry units during grimdark or historical skirmish games.
- The Objective Marker: Drop it into the center of a ruined city or medieval plaza as a highly thematic control point for tabletop RPGs.
- The Wizard's Familiar: Scale it down using the included "Miniature" file to represent a giant eagle mount, a ranger's companion, or a summoned familiar.
/// FILES INCLUDED ///
- Monument_Eagle_114mm_Solid.stl (Clean, unsupported master file for the massive 4.5-inch terrain piece)
- Familiar_Eagle_25mm_Solid.stl (A scaled-down version optimized for use as a standard 1-inch base miniature)
- Familiar_Eagle_25mm_Solid_Presupported.stl (A presupported version for plug-and-play printing)

/// SCALING GUIDE ///
This standalone Hero Asset is natively scaled as a massive monument (114mm). However, the engineered surface detail allows for aggressive scaling without losing texture. Use these exact percentages in your slicer based on the Monument_Eagle_114mm_Solid.stl:
HO Scale (1:87): 64%
O Scale (1:48): 116%
28mm / 32mm Heroic (1:56): 100% (Native)
Standard 1-Inch Base Miniature: 30% (Or simply use the included Familiar_Eagle_25mm_Solid.stl)
/// RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS ///
FDM: Print at 0.12mm layer height to capture the deep, weathered texture of the stone feathers. Standard tree supports are mandatory to support the underside of the wings, the heavy beak, and the deeply undercut talons resting on the plinth.
Resin: Due to its massive native size (114mm), we highly recommend hollowing the model with a 2mm wall thickness and adding drainage holes near the flat base to save resin and reduce peel-force suction. Tilt the eagle backward approximately 30 degrees so that the heavy support scaffolding connects to the back of the wings, preserving the intricate facial and breast feathers.
