Anjaneya-Chola Bronze Hanuman

This classic Chola-style Hanuman (Anjaneya) stands erect on a stepped lotus pedestal, chest slightly expanded and gaze intent. The right hand forms abhaya while the left rests at the hip; the long tail arcs as a halo behind the kiritam-crowned head. Crisp girdle ties, yajnopavita, and beadwork ornaments, together with compact musculature and smooth planes, echo the classic South Indian lost-wax bronze making tradition.
