Desert Rock Scatter Terrain – 25 Piece STL Bundle

I have always liked deserts and all the different rock shapes you can find there. That's why I created these desert rocks as scatter/scenery terrain, to add a little more realism and variety to a scene. I wanted the set to include different shapes and sizes, so you can use the pieces in many kinds of battlefields, bases and dioramas.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

PRINTABILITY

I designed the rocks to be easy to print on both FDM and resin printers. The clean shapes make them straightforward to print, while still keeping enough surface detail for painting and drybrushing.

To all FDM'ers: If you print them with a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.16 mm layer height, you should already get really good results. If you want to spice things up a bit and get some more detail out of the rock textures, try a 0.2 mm nozzle on some of the pieces. I tested the rocks on a Bambu Lab P1S and got great results.

To all Resin'ers: All files come pre-supported, so they should be ready to print without much hassle. I tested them on an Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra with great results.

WHAT CAN YOU USE THEM FOR?

The rocks are meant to be flexible scatter terrain, so you can use them pretty much wherever some natural rocky terrain fits.

They work great for:

• Desert battlefields
• Sci-fi and alien landscapes
• Fantasy terrain
• Wargaming tables
• RPG encounters
• Miniature bases
• Dioramas and display pieces
• Natural cover and line-of-sight blockers

You can mix the smaller and larger rocks across your battlefield or combine several pieces to create larger rock formations.
