Alien Hive World Terrain – 12 Piece Sci-Fi Rock STL Bundle

To really create a believable sci-fi alien planet, you need the right xenos environment around it. That's why I created these Alien Hive World rock formations. I was thinking of an insectoid alien species, like in star wars, living on a dry, rocky planet, where the only real shelter is inside caves and strange rock formations.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• 12 unique Alien Hive / Xenos rock formations
• Different organic shapes and sizes
• Pre-supported files for resin printing
• Scale: 32mm

PRINTABILITY

These rocks are pretty detailed and have a lot of cracks, lines and small surface structures, so I would definitely go for a finer setup if you want to keep all of that detail.

To all FDM'ers: I recommend a 0.2 mm nozzle and a 0.12 mm layer height to get the right level of detail out of the textures and cracks.

To all Resin'ers: The rocks come pre-supported. I tested everything on an Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra and had no problems there. Have fun!

WHAT CAN YOU USE THEM FOR?

These pieces work really well if you want to build a strange, dry alien world with a more organic and xenos feel.

They work great for:

• Sci-fi wargaming terrain
• Tabletop RPG encounters
• Alien caves and rocky environments
• Insectoid alien settings
• Scatter terrain
• Line-of-sight blockers
• Dioramas and display scenes

You can spread the smaller formations around the battlefield as scatter terrain or use the larger pieces as natural cover, landmarks or entrances into an underground hive system.
