Steel Ancestor War Machine | | 30mm

The Steel Ancestor is a massive armoured bipedal war machine fielded by the Solar Legions to provide heavy direct-fire support to legionary formations. Across the moving Perimeter, where the Legions secure havens before spent stars force the Houses to move again, this formidable sci-fi mech walker combines heavy ranged firepower with close-combat devastation. Its chassis accommodates an array of weapon options: a heavy mega machine gun with ammunition feed, a destructive mega plasma gun, shoulder-mounted launchers, and a power fist.

Designed as a detailed multipart kit, the miniature includes separate leg and limb components that allow custom standing or advancing stances during assembly. Builders can select between plain and heraldic chest plates, position layered armour paneling across the limbs, and attach dynamic firing effects for the mega plasma gun and machine gun. For painters, the broad armour plates, mechanical cabling, and exposed exhausts offer extensive surfaces for weathering, edge highlighting, paint chipping, and heat-burn discoloration.

Use on the Table

This model can be used as an armoured bipedal walker, combat mech, or heavy assault support vehicle in 28mm–32mm sci-fi tabletop wargames.
