Small Frederick the Grub has always longed for life to be exciting. While the other grubs imagine the holes they will dig or roots they will smash for days on end, Frederick wants nothing more than to see new things and experience… well, everything! Perhaps he was swayed this way, his mind nurtured by Taffeta’s grand tales of heroic deeds, but he knows that even in the egg, he dreamed of adventure. Someday, he’ll pack his trusty bag and light Taffeta’s travel lantern and set off for lands unknown. But not quite yet!
