Set of 6x 15mm Zaporozhian cossacks firing their muskets. Two figures are kneeling.
They are armed with various types of muskets (Eastern European or Ottoman), mainly snaphance flintlocks (one has Ottoman matchlock and one has a wheellock), sabers and axes.
Cossacks are dressed in typical Ukrainian peasants garments and boots, 1 wears long cloak with fur collar, while 2 wear hungarian "menta" overcoat that was popular among Registered Cossacks at the beginning of the 17th century. 1 model is shown wearing fur hats in a strange manner (layed flat) popular among Zaporozhians.
These models can represent Zaporozhian cossacks or Registered cossacks of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth as well as Ukrainian Hetman's infantry of late 16th- early 18th centuries.
