The Silver Shields

Also known as the Argyraspides (literally "Silver Shields in ancient greek), the Silver Shields team are the heirs to Alexander in the wider galactic death fields circuit. After being taken during the Wars of the Diadochi, the original team members were given enhanced equipment that mirrors their ancient armanent.

Their namesake shields are equipped with power fields to deflect lasers and other enemy projectiles. Spears and swords mimic the shape of their ancient forebears, but are imbued with technology and monomolecular edged blades.
