The Iron Guard was sent to end Grimclaw's attacks along the mountain road. Travelers now wait for an armed escort, and every patrol returns with fewer shields than it carried into the pass.

The bear has learned to meet the soldiers head-on, charging before they can close around it. The soldiers hold formation. Grimclaw keeps coming.
