How opinions work

Opinions help other collectors choose companies, games and factions. A short honest note from someone who actually owns the miniatures is worth more than any advertisement.

Who can leave an opinion
Any registered member can share an opinion about a company, game or faction. You can leave one opinion per item.
Satisfaction level
Each opinion has one of three levels: Not really (negative), Normally (neutral) or I'm inspired (positive). This is shown as a coloured stripe on the left side of the opinion block.
Changing your opinion
You can edit your opinion at any time - update the text or change your satisfaction level. If you change it after more than 24 hours from the original post, a note will appear on the opinion: "opinion was changed after X". This keeps things transparent for other readers.
Sets in your collection
When an opinion is saved, the site records how many sets from that company or game you currently have in your collection. This number is shown under your name so readers can judge how much hands-on experience you have. If you have no sets from that item, a warning is shown instead - this is not a ban, just useful context for other members.
Updating your sets count
The sets count is saved at the moment you submit or re-save the opinion. It does not update automatically. If your collection has grown since you wrote the opinion, simply open it, make any small edit (or just re-save), and the current number will be recorded.
Likes
Other members can like an opinion they find useful or agree with. The number of likes is shown next to the like button.
What is not allowed
Opinions must be plain text - all links, images and HTML are stripped automatically. Spam, advertising and offensive content will be removed by moderators. One opinion per member per item.
