Despite the strength of the joint faction blockade, every now and then an incident occurs that allows the Eshian swarms of hive Entropy to claim more territory, the timeline for recovering such a location is in hours, not days as every part of the swarm's organisms is adapted to rapid replication and aggressive spread.
Once a location is chosen, a kind of creeping mass of microscopic organisms begins to form across different surfaces, initially this is spread by spores carried by various kinds of warrior drones, however once established and fed with any kind of living matter, the structure can become complex enough to grow spore sprayers and to nurture the eggs of the most specialized and most dangerous creatures of the Eshian swarm.
