The Town Class of light cruiser consisted of 10 ships built for the Royal Navy during the 1930s. The class was built in three distinct sub-classes: Southampton, Gloucester and Edinburgh. The class saw service in WW2 which resulted in 4 of the class being sunk.
One ship of the class has been preserved as a Museum ship, HMS Belfast, and is moored in London. Belfast participated in the sinking of the German Battleship Scharnhorst.
This model is designed in the 1/1800 scale but can be printed in 1/2400 scale without appreciable loss of detail. The model comes as two STL files, one for the ships Hull and the other for the turrets, cranes etc.
