The King George V class of Battleships were the most modern in commission in the Royal Navy during World War Two. The five ships of the class were: HMS King George V, HMS Prince of Wales, HMS Duke of York, HMS Anson, and HMS Howe.
All five ships of the class saw service in WW2, and one (HMS Prince of Wales) was sunk by Japanese aircraft. HMS King George V and HMS Prince Wales were both involved in the sinking of the Bismarck.
This model is designed in the 1/1800 scale but can be printed in 1/2400 scale without appreciable loss of detail. The model comes as two STL files, one for the ships Hull and the other for the turrets, cranes etc.
NOTE: I broke the top of the rear mast off just before taking pictures of the printed model and lost it in the boundless sea of the carpet....
