DESCRIPTION Panzer IV A

The Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausführung A is a medium tank—the first sub-variant of the Panzer IV—used by the armed forces of the Third Reich during World War II.

35 units produced between late 1936 and early 1937.

The Panzer IV Ausf. A took part in the invasion of Poland in 1939 and the Battle of France in 1940.

Armament :

o   7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24 short-barreled gun

o   two MG-34 7.92 mm machine guns
