A huntsman who was inflicted with lycanthropy. Whilst he was a mindless animal for many years during any full moon, he learned to wrestle control from his inner-beast and use it to his advantage. Knowing he could never be accepted into society again, he lived on the fringes; in the woods, plains and empty copse of land. It was here that he rescued Little Red Riding Hood, taking her under his wing as a brigand, and building her new identity as the infamous brigand The Crimson Hood.

A hunter who once served Mallory. He was at her beck and call, forced into despicable acts, murdering her enemies, poisoning the wells of villages that might work against her. It took only one act of defiance, the refusal to murder a sweet innocent girl, that saw him cursed with Lycanthropy by the dark queen. If he would not be her lap dog, then she would turn him into her own mangy beast anyway.

For years he fought with the ailment. Nights became torture when the moon hung high, and the days were spent exhausted, sleeping for most and always left with a ravenous hunger. It was not until years later that he would learn to control his own body when it was taken by lycanthropy, fighting against his senseless bloodlust and the malicious control of Mallory.

Since breaking free from his reigns, he has lived on the road as a brigand, targeting caravans and trade routes commissioned by the Dark Queen. It is his hope that even if he can slightly slow her growth or cripple her in some way, it may weaken her enough for a stronger foe to deal the coup d'etat. Through this, he earned himself the moniker “The Big Bad,” having earned himself a reputation to be feared by those who worked under Mallory, with many refusing to take jobs upon the roads he prowled. Though his journey was once one he made alone, he now is joined by the young and tenacious Crimson Hood, who has become a quick learner and adapted to life on the road.
