Gifted with a rare ability that awoke after the time of the Falling Moon. Glydnos is able to transport his soul to the surface of Glanbeli through astral projection, whereby he speaks directly with Glanbeli herself, seeking both guidance and favour. This has stirred controversy within the Glanbelite Drow, who claim Glydnos is a pretender, attempting to undermine Kadna’s authority and is in fact an agent of Irinax.

Glydnos was raised in a small Drow colony on the outskirts of north Lo Fuin, one that did not adhere to the temples of Glanbeli nor Irinax. They were known, for lack of a better term by their kin, as Swamp Drow. Though they themselves held the name Free Drow. Yet, in the time of the Falling Moon, when Glanbeli descended from the sky, Glydnos fell into a deep slumber for three months after suffering a seizure when the event began.

His family had thought him dead at first, until his body retained its warmth throughout. He was placed in his bed, and tended to by his family who fed him pureed food through his sleep, keeping him alive. When he awoke, he regaled a story of a nigh endless dream from his slumber, where he walked upon the white sands of Glanbeli in his slumber, spanning to the horizon in each way. When her spirit returned to its shell, she saw him as a wandering soul who had found its way to her, rather than Syelden. Glydnos was sent back, yet his desire to return to Glanbeli remained.

Through the years, he consulted other clans of Swamp Drow, training himself to astrally project his being beyond the bounds of his body. With this, he has been able to revisit Glanbeli, a place he had been before. Glydnos claims there he walks upon her sands and speaks with her spirit, who has given him guidance to attempt to unite the Drow of Lo Fuin, rather than see them continue to take each other’s lives. Yet the other Glanbelite Drow who hold places in the old temple believe Glydnos to be a pretender, one who is a puppet of Irinax undermining their authority.
