Spider-Goat
A mutant giant spider/goat hybrid miniature for 28mm games.
Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base.
Spider-Goats (also knows as Capropods) are part spider, part goat, and all pack predator. Attacking in groups, spider-goats paralyze their prey and then devour them at their leisure.
Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic.
I sculpted these spider-goat monsters as part of the original Mutant Mayhem Minis kickstarter, where they appeared as a Stretch Goal. They were quite popular, and also appeared in the adventure module THE GOATS OF TREVAIL, which was also part of the kickstarter, and later released independently (currently available on DriveThruRPG).
